	Instructor development workshop IDW
	To register for an upcoming IDW please send us a brief description of your paddling history and let us know your goals for the workshop. Upon receipt of your request you will receive an email package with attachment. In these attachment you will find release forms that must be filled out and returned along with a 50 % deposit to hold you place in the workshop.
	In addition it is necessary to review the links listed below before coming to the workshop
	ACA Required materials- the ACA require that all participant access the links below for the workshops. Frequently Asked Questions about ACA Instructor Certification ACA Instructor Certification: Requirements, Maintenance and Insurance Instructor certification exam (ICE) Having satisfactorily completed an IDW, you are now ready to sit for (just a term you will not be seated for long) the certification exam. their are several outcomes that may result from you participation in an exam. 1. you may be certified to a level appropriate to your skills and abilities 2. your certification may be differed for up to 1 year if you are found to be deficient in a skill, this give you time to practice that skill and bring it up to the required level. if you demonstrate this with the required skill proficiency to the IT you will then receive the appropriate certification. after one year you are required to take the workshops again. 3. You may leave without have a certification and be recommended to repeat the workshop. we will work very hard to help you achieve certification. if you work just as hard you will make it but it is all up to you!
